Will 4 wheels fit inside my car for transport?

I am picking up 4 new V-715 wheels with mounted tires from the airport, will it fit inside my E92 for transport? They are probably boxed as well...

What do you think, anyone ever done this before?

Many thanks...

A.

I recently won an ebay auction for a new set of tyres / alloys, picked them up from the seller and drove about 60 miles home without too much fuss.

One went in the boot, two on the back seat and the fourth one on the front seat.

Had to drive carefully though as the tyre on the front seat had a habit of sliding towards the gear lever.

Don't see why not. One in the trunk, two in the back seats, and one in the front seat. May need to take them out of the boxes to fit. I'd bring some blankets or whatever to cover your seats.

Dont know if its the same there but go to a tire shop you can get used plastic tire bags (shipping bags, like large garbage bags) for free. You could always use cheap plastic painters tarp as well, I never transported wheels and tires in car, but have done it alot in our minivan and these worked great.

Cool, so you went with the V-715.

I think you should be able to put one in the trunk, two in the backseat and one in the front seat.
If they're not boxed, two might fit in the trunk.

And post pics

i dont think you can, in my e90, i put 4 wheels boxed, but boxes with tires are even bigger. ive also put 4 tires with just some plastic around it (no box). so id imagine u could fit it if u took them out of the box. 4 wheels with tires in box, id suggest u get a van. especially since urs is an e92...

Yep. Winters I can do two in the trunk, two in the back seat. Summers I can do one rear in the trunk, two in the back seats, and one up front. Haven't carried wheels in my car in a long time though now. Make sure to wrap everything up really well, but down blankets, bubble wrap, anything you can find...

If your rear seat fold down, you can put 4 of them in the trunk/ontop of seats

Just put them in plastic bags so they don't dirty up your car or if bare rim use towels so they don't hit any metal part and ding it up...

i've put 4 19" wheels in my coupe before..this is with tires

Looking forward to hearing how it goes.
I plan on getting new wheels and rf snow tires this fall
for the 335i coupe.
The set up that several have listed above works fine for the 540i that I have --
one tire is in the spare section of the trunk.

I have been wondering if I would be able to transport 4 wheels and snows in the coupe.

It's easier if you have the fold down seats like I do.
I made sure that I got the fold down seats since I do a lot of home depot trips.
4 wheels and tires were no problem!

Put them in a heavy plastic bag then connect a vacuum cleaner to the bag and SUCK out all the air. Tires should collapse then they will fit in the glove box !!

Bet you could fit all 4 in the trunk with the seats folded down.
