Question Can the quality of these wheels be trusted?

Hey guys

I'm on the hunt for some gunmetal/black 18" wheels and I came across these:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-18-MAT...item53eddfde78

I've contacted the seller asking for the brand of the wheels. The reply was there isn't one. So I'm wondering if the quality of these can be trusted or not?

Has anyone bought from this place before? http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/

Thanks

bmautosport has a very good reputation. Would have no hesitation buying from Mark.

It's good to hear this place has a good rep -- but about the non-branded wheels? Thoughts on those?

Lets face it, genuine BMW wheels aren't without faults.

Don't think Mark would be selling them if they were of poor quality, thus causing returns and hassle for customers etc.....

I've found cheaper wheels to be made of softer alloy. They don't crack as easy as OEM wheels but they do buckle easier.

Isn't £550 a bit steep for 18" replicas? I thought you could get 19" for that or even less?

I agree Mark is a top bloke

If you are in any doubt as to the quality speak to Mark and arrange to go and see him and the wheels at his unit in Eastbourne.

Yes indeed, that does sound a bit steep!

OP, you won't go far wrong buying a set of alloy's from this guy http://www.********.com/

Chris gets my vote for service, price, plus quality of wheels (CSL reps).
And if you register with m3Cutters you will receive a discount.

I've purchased wheels from both Chris and BMAutosport.
