Can anyone recommend a SA for Bellevue BMW?

As the title stated due to the dreaded steering wheel lock/oil sensor issue, so I'm looking to take the car in sometime this or next week.... Thanks for any info.

Good luck with that! When I called Bellevue, they were at least two weeks out on appointments. But mine wasn't critical like the steering wheel lock, so you should probably get in a lot sooner.

As for SA's, I haven't been in yet myself, so I'd be interested to see who people recommend.

You're definitely right about the 2 week booking, the closest I could get was the 1st week of August.

Peter, thanks for the info. I actually called earlier during lunch and got appointed for SA Charlie. Hope he's good?

I dealt with Ryan at Bellevue and he is pretty good. I had a mysterious O2 sensor problem and he kept me updated regularly. Don't get your hopes up about driving any sort of BMW while yours is in the shop though.

Yeah, I was told by my CA they were MONTHS out on loaner cars when I bought the car. In other words, if you needed a loaner car for a service, book the service way in advance. I'm not sure what they'd do for something that came on suddenly and made the car unable to be driven.....

Or are you saying they don't have loaner BMWs at all, but a random fleet of "crap"?

They got me a rent-a-car for the two weeks my car was in the shop. Still not sure they fixed everything right though, my engine was ticking like a diesel the other day.

I've always worked with Elle or Sue at BMW Seattle - they've been incredibly helpful (and my X5 was in there a *lot*)

I've worked with the two as well... and to be honest i'm not very pleased... i've had my car there about 4 times, and am seriously thinking of switching to BMW of Bellevue!
I picked up my car yesterday, that was held overnight, for replacing a door handle and speaker they didn't have parts for a month ago when they told me to come back, and it's like the two don't communicate! Anyway, my car had a crack in the windshield that mysteriously grew 3" (eventhough it had been there for months) and the door handle fix was less than satisfactory.
So now I'm probably going to give BMW of Bellevue a try!

my 2 cents

Charlie is great! I moved in from outa state and he treats me like I own the place --- got me right in when I had the ELV problem - normal maintenance is being booked out 2-3 weeks. Charlie ----A++++++++++++++

I'm not a fan of Seattle. Used to take my car there for service but definitely not anymore.

I'm all Bellevue now. Plus, one of our members here (Johnny) works at Bellevue!

Ive been most pleased with service at BMW Northwest. The downside is that they dont offer loaners unless one bought the car from them...and they are so far away.

My dealership, BMW Bellevue has been a dissapointment. Ive had my car in there 2 times for the same issue, and still need to go back a 3rd time for a related issue. After the second trip, my front bumper was not re-attached correctly and had to be sent back into the shop for attachment. As for a loaner, I got a Kia and a dodge caravan from Enterprise. I understand that they cant have BMW loaners for EVERY service call...that is just not possible. My biggest beef with BMW Bellevue is not really the customer service, but the quality of the repair work....seems below acceptable for a luxury car dealership. More attention to workmanship and less trips to the dealer is what I expect.

For scheduled maintenance, I recommend Auburn Foreign Car or StrictlyBMW. These guys treat our BMWs quite well and the work performed is done right the first time, in my experience.

Strictly BMW rocks. I went there to do my break-in oil/fluid change. I would rather go to an indie than a dealer. They have more to lose if they mess up your car. A dealer's main business is to sell and finance cars, not fix them. An indie shop's main business is fixing cars. If they aren't good at that they don't stay in business long.

Yes, no where else is the statement true "you get what you pay for" than in the automobile repair industry.
