e90 lip spoiler - fitting

Can't seem to find the original thread on this...i got one of these painted ones from eBay that had the 3M tape backing and seperate hardner solution to fix it to the boot lid.

i've noticed that the curved ends of the spoiler hasn't fixed to the boot lid properly (can see daylight through the join). Whats the best way to correct this without removing the spoiler?

If i have to remove the spoiler, whats the best way to do this to ensure no damage to the paint on the lid?

Cheers

Hi mate, should have been a flush fit bar the height of the 3m tape to be honest,

you can either apply some black silicone finely to cover the gap or i would personally remove it, i had a mis hap when i stuck my spoiler on, used boiling hot water to pour it along the joins and peeled it off with no residue left at all. i was then lucky enough to use the same 3m tape as still had some tack to it and used the bonding agent supplied to stick it back on, has not fallen off since.

regards
