Forum members on the road
Swear every e92 i see on the road i think the person maybe on this forum...we need some sort of signal to indicate you're an e90poster - like a secret hand shake just using a mixture of hazard lights and high beams instead :P
On that note anyone here have a 320d, 57plate - mv3's, black with black grills and white h8's? Just seen it on the M4 getting off at junction 3 |

Maybe we should do what Reliant owners did years ago and raise a hand to show ones palm just off the A-Pillar.

I see 5 or 6 E9x's on my daily commute, A614 Ollerton area. A couple have been modded with black grilles and one LMB E90 Msport even has ///M badges front and rear! Probably not a member on here then

Managing a lightweight RWD through the winter months, is what made me the great driver I am today. The Reliant owners wave was an integral part of my growing up and sometimes as a front seat passenger I was allowed to wave when passing other owners. Life couldn’t get any better Last edited by creepy coupe; 07-27-2012 at 07:34 AM.. |

I always found the Robin somewhat unstable on the 10" rims and preferred the 9" minilites with 50mm spacers each side. Mine was also lowered on Eibach's with two 10" grey council paving slabs (nicked of course) secured in the back, partly to improve the look, but mainly to keep it stable at high speed (65mph & above). The 10" grey council slabs were instrumental in improving my driving skills no end,and were in no doubt responsible for me being the driving 'God' I am today. I avoided the reliant wave,I did however have a sticker in my rear window which stated: 'Gay lover onboard', which was later joined by the sticker: 'Adopted ankle biter also present'. I do hope the above offends you even more ,as I'm obviously not special enough to have received any insulting PM's (with the exception of one individual)and would relish the opportunity of receiving some 'special' attention

You could resurrect the "spotted" thread that we had on this forum a few years ago.
Before you know it,you should have a pool of owners local to you. Works on other forums... |

Ian. Given our similar ages I'm amazed our Reliant driving paths never crossed I did go down the wheel spacer route, only to suffer from premature ejaculation tyre wear on the inside edge. So went instead for 1 x cross ply and 1 x radial on the same axel. Which improved things no end. In the late seventies yellow was very much todays carbon black |

There is quite a few members on here from the Aberdeen area.
I must have seen quite a few without really knowing who they were. On saying that there is that many BMWs in Aberdeen it would be hard to tell. Some look well looked after and not another rep mobile, so I'd guess they would be more likely to be here. |
