Mudflaps - non BMW?
Just wondering... the OEM mudflaps a) don't fit the MSport very well and b) are too short to actually catch anything.
Has anyone gone aftermarket and fitted the flappy rubber type that Scoobys and Evos have fitted? Not in that godawful blue colour, but in a discreet black? This sort of thing: Or would it just look like an abortion in a car parts shop?

I've got black ones fitted to my Scooby and have considered fitting something similar to the BMW. The bottom of my rear bumper is badly chipped so as an when I get round to replacing the bumper (its broken but that's a different story) I'll probably cut down my spare Scooby flaps so there's a couple of inches hanging down. Will have to see what it looks like then decide whether to keep them or not. Shouldn't be so bad for me though as black on black shouldn't be too noticeable.

We don't all live in the clean and tidy city, some of us have no option but to drive down shit strewn country roads so flaps do help in giving some protection to the door cills and rear bumper.
Paul, if you get anywhere with the flat rubber ones, let me know! |

I reckon a pair of these are worth a punt -
£12, and the logo is optional.
