Hey Fellas,

Hoping to get some help. I'll be taking a trip to the Northeast for a wedding soon, flying in/out of Manhattan and renting a car to drive up to Mass. I'd like a comfortable ride for the weekend but can't seem to find a decent middle-ground rental agency. It's either budget rentals like Hertz/Enterprise/Budget(etc.) or high-end exotic rentals like Gotham Dream Cars. And as much as I'd like a McLaren MP4-12C for the weekend , I'm looking for something closer to a 5-series/E-class or the like.

I know the tax in NYC on rentals is a little ridiculous, so I'm prepared for that. Just a little odd that everything is either under $350 or above $1200 (for the weekend)...where's the middle ground? I can't imagine I'm the first person to have this issue. I've done quite a bit of searching already with no luck...hoping someone might have an option I haven't discovered yet. Cheers.
