Rain and Gremlins
I was driving today when I suddenly got caught in a torrential down pour. First time my new baby has seen the rain. I avoided all big puddles but suddenly a messege flashed on the i-drive screen stating "RIGHT BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE". The rain eventually stopped and one of my buddies checked the brake lights and all was well, although the car continued to say light failure. Ten minutes later I started up the car, and then the check engine light came on with the brake light failure message. I ran a couple more errands, and the light and message persisted. The car has 750 miles on it, and I've been babying the engine. I've only shifted above 4000rpms once so unless the engine is a lemon I figure it has to be electrical.
Has anyone else had problems in the rain like this before. Should I not drive my car in the rain for fear of utter distruction? If anyone has some input let me know.

Just take it to the dealer. They will check the system out. It may only be a loose bulb.
