Hello - first post
Hi all, I've just ordered a 335i convertible. First ever BMW. Family has driven Mercs for last 30 years. This has been a great forum and source of info for me when I was ordering!
In addition to saying Hi, i've got a question. Is the wind deflector a good accessory? IMO it detracts for the aesthetics but i dont want to be blasted with wind everytime i drive the car. Anyone have anyexperience with it up to 120km/h speeds? Cheers.

Thanks, I think your advice is sensible and I'll follow it, the deflector isnt cheap so its prob best to wait!

Without the windscreen you will get a significant wind blowing on the back of your head from behind. I probably wont bother you much if you are a male with short hair but it will definitely bother female passengers. In addition it allows you to drive with the top down even when temps dip since with the windows up, windscreen in place and heated seats and heater on you can drive with the top down in as low as 50 degree F temps and still be comfortable. Its pretty much a must have for any BMW cabriolet |
