Drag Strip in Hot Temps with Slip

Went to the track yesterday in about 85-90 degree temps. DA was about 3500.

I'm fbo with 50/50 meth, I got in 7 runs in 2.5 hours, all times were .2 seconds of each other and all traps were within 1.5 mph.

Here is a copy of my best slip. I just don't know what I need to do to break 11s especially since the car feels like its running really strong now.

maybe you should run a more aggressive map? what tune are you on?

it's been ages since i've been to the drag strip, but my run was a 12.4@111mph... that was map7 on JB3 (albeit a cool 50 degree night).

with the new JB4/Proceed tunes, you can definitely hit even lower 12's high 11's since you're running meth.

Hell I'm on Cobb stage2+ agg and i think i can beat my old time (pump, fbo, no meth).

I'd say run a more aggressive map and wait till the fall for a glory run. the colder ambient temp will definitely make a difference.

Did you log? "It feels like it is running strong" is hard to trouble shoot.

In order to break 11's you need to go faster.

Ha I think it was the weather. Most cars were running mid to low 13s. Fastest car there was a 5.0 with ford racing supercharger and its best times were 12.1 so I wasn't far behind.

You have plenty of options:

1) NOSSS
2) strip your interior
3) manually map your boost if you have a piggyback- 12.3 should put you at around 17psi? You can get 19psi out of your stock turbos if 11s mean that much to you.
4) waiting for a colder day will help.
5) e85 mix?

Play around with some different things.
