Finally! My First Post!
Last Sunday, I finally took the plunge and ordered my E92 335i !!!
I decided to take the more conservative route and minimize my options since I plan to add a bunch of carbon fiber pieces over stock and mod the f*ck out of this baby into one bad ass sleeper (LoL, yeah right!). Here are the details: Space Gray Dakota Black Aluminum Trim 6MT ZSP 189s That's it. Seriously, this is probably the biggest vehicle purchase of my life so far and I couldn't be happier with the choice I've made. It was either this or a low miles E46 M3... but the twin-turbo was too hard to resist! Since I no longer have an excuse to lurk (because I'll actually have a car to talk about here), I'm looking forward finally be able to contribute to discussions here! BTW -- I'm picking this baby up in Munich early September! Happy Birthday to ME!!! Autobahn here I come

Cool! ED's are a dream for me for as long as I live where I live (because the steering wheel is on the other side). Also nice to see that you ordered now and get it so fast.

Damn -- that's one hell of a wait for your car. I was actually a bit rushed when I ordered my car last weekend. The ED specialist who helped us said the timing of the order was really good. The plant is supposed to be shut down in August in preparation for the 08 models. Had I hesitated any longer to order, I would have an 08 model but would have to wait a few more months to get my car.

Grats! ED will be fun, I did one as well.
One word of advice, "You don't regret the options you get, you regret the ones you don't get." I'd at least get seat warmers, they warm up fast, and hit your lower back. I would get the Premium package for the bluetooth, leather, etc. also.

My mom's 528 had heated seats and all the good stuff, but I was never really a fan. I just got my kicks out of the driving experience itself. Perhaps I'll just go with a dealer installed iPod dock (the only accessory that appealed to me outside of ZSP). On a side note, when my car was ordered, my mom traded in her E39 528 for... a fully loaded 745! I'm jealous now -- but I'll definitely get my in Sept/Oct.

No regrets!

I think I'd have more fun modding the 335 than the M... plus you yield some scary results with only "basic mods" for the 335.
