selling myself again. ;) service work

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hey guys,

Selling my services again in the N. Los Angeles area. If you need some work done on your ride, hit me up for an estimate.

At this time, I am NOT doing the following types of work:
gluing anything to the car. (Splitters, spoilers, etc.)
CDV mod
Clutches
Exhaust work

Work I'm encouraging:
Lowering (springs or c/o)
Brakes (including BBK upgrade)
Lighting (angel eyes, etc.)
Fender Rolling
Accessory Install (Ipod, etc.. programming still has to be done at the dealer)
Interior upgrades (steering wheel, shift knobs, etc.)
Intakes

I'm willing to install a Proceed, but be aware that I accept ZERO responsibility for the use of a Proceed or similar device, including any effect it may have on the vehicle and/or warranty coverage.

There may be a few other things, but we'll cover those as they arise.

My labor rate is cheap, and my work is good. Many members here have used my services, and they've all been satisfied customers.

I make house calls. Trying not to go more than 30 miles for Santa Clarita, but I'll make exceptions for the right work. I'm working weekends and weeknights if the job is right.

Can you make my angel eyes turn on without parking lights? (work as driving lights all the time... I know its dim on the e90 sedan, but...).

Install PIAA's for the angel eyes?

good luck matt!

a little off topic here . Does rolling out fenders affect the paint at all? Since the paint isn't going to bend (or is it?), how does rolling fenders affect the paint of your car? I hope it doesn't peel!

May I ask why you won't do the CDV mod? Not that I need it have it done and think it's awesome but is there a problem with it or something?

the paint should be fine, it's not like you're rolling your fenders at a rediculously crazy angle

I will vouch for Matt, excellent work at great prices. He's installed my black lines, roof spoiler, front splitters, short shifter, steering wheel, and will soon roll my fenders!

You may want to hit up some of those BMW CCA (Club racing) people for some heavy duty moonlight work. (www.bmwclubla.org) I was there at Willow Springs this weekend and I'm sure some needs a helping hand with their setups. They spend big bucks on their hobby. You can place a free ad in their BMW LA Chapter Newsletter "Whisperingbomb". Contack Mike Webb bmwwebb@earthlink.net for advertising.

It's do-able, but you'll have to buy some additional parts. Chesmu finalized the Halo for DRL mod for E90's, search his DIY and see what parts he ended up using.

I can install PIAA for $30, regardless. price goes up for the corner delete.

Also, I do charge actual gas cost for the trip to you, so most times if you plan to have me do more than 1 mod, you should save them up and do them all at once, unless you're gonna come to ME.

Tad too much liability... if I do the CDV, and then someone smokes their clutch by freak coincidence, I don't want them coming to me asking for $2000 for a new clutch.

I'd do it, but it's a bit cost prohibitive for everyone involved. By the time ya'll bought me a plane ticket, you'd have paid too much to make using me instead of a shop worthwhile.

should not be an issue if done correctly. usually a heat gun is used to heat up the paint beforehand so it does not crack after being rolled.

anyway, good luck matt with your services!

I'll vouch for Matt as well. He recently rolled my fenders and by looking at his work, you can tell he knows his stuff. Thanks again Matt!

I saw Chesmu's post, but its a corner lights delete mod... and still require you to turn on your parking lights. Any way to rewire it so that its on whenever ignition is on? It doesn't seem like it should be so complex... my angel eyes on my old e46 was done so that it just turns on when ignition is on.

Thank you!
Sam
