Snap-in phone adapter cradles for non-apple phones
Check these out, has anyone used these or familiar with the functionality for other devices? I bet Samsung phones would work on the RIM or Motorola adapter (micro usb)
But even so, what's the specific functionality vs. Apple's adapter?

Also - Even if the adapter doesn't literally "cradle" the phone, you could take a short micro usb female -> male adapter cable, plug the female end into the adapter and the male end into your phone. Obviously wouldn't have the "snap-in" functionality, but the form vs. functionality standpoint is pretty moot at this point since BMW has chosen to ignore 60%+ of the smartphone market; referring to the Android user base.

I think your functionality is limited to Send and Receive phone calls. Except with a blackberry the office functions work.

??
If all you can do is receive and make calls, wouldn't it be better just to use the bluetooth connection?
