Where did you post your BMWCCA membership sticker?

I joined BMW CCA in March and have not received a sticker. If I do get one, I don't know where I would put it. I hope this thread can give me some suggestions. Does anyone think a poll might be in order?

(BTW I'm not jennifer that was an email I received from her when I asked the same question) prefered placement would be drivers rear quarter panel. The passenger side quarter panel would have your local chapters sticker. Such as National Capital Chapter at least thats my preference.

Please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope, along with a note requesting a new decal. Our address is 640 South Main Street, Suite 201, Greenville, SC 29601. Please contact me with any further questions.

I know. And I'm sure it gets really old, so I try not to do it much - but I can't resist when I see a CCA thread. I'm just trying to balance the over zealous posts by other members in favor of the club. My experience has not been favorable.

Since they are (and always seem to be) on a membership drive, I think people considering joining should have points of view to consider on both sides.

In favor of: The magazine is nice.

In opposition to: Every other benefit claimed is, by my personal experience, false. Most noticably, the alleged rebate for purchasing a new BMW. I got screwed out of mine. I've had a few nice emails full of sympathy and good will from them, but no rebate.

I know some don't like the harshness of the word "scam", but by my definition if you tout a $500 rebate and then don't pay it out... that's a scam.

The perfect placement is right at eye level on the drivers side of the windshield so you can always see it. If it's not directly blocking your field of vision then move it until it is.

Would you care to elaborate on their responses to your request? If indeed you did not follow their prescribed method to obtain your rebate, perhaps others might benefit from your misfortune.

hey thanks for the info, I lost mine when I had to replace my windshield....well to answer the op's original question, it was on the passenger side header windshield.

But alas, I did follow the prescribed method and followed the instructions to the letter.

The way I look at it, I have a right to $500 worth of bitching and complaining about BMWCCA. And I haven't even started to keep track yet!
