It's free. But it's not really worth the price.

They lost 100% credibility for me when they bought into the whole "global warming" bullshit. Their usual marketing tool magazine has now become a "look, we follow mindlessly along with whatever contrived crisis the politicians are pushing today".

Good point but its not as big a deal to me. We all know the media is really in control of what goes on in this country.

You give "the media" far too much credit. They are not intelligent enough to be in control of a litter of puppies. They are driven by ratings and subscriptions, period. They do and say what they are told.

Not always they report certain stories and make certain people look worse than others. Not that I disagree with the firing of IMUS but what he said has been said 10000 times over by other people with out any consiquence. I see it a lot when it comes to sports also. They hit some atheletes way harder than others also. I know this comes with the territory but its out of control now. I guess I may be giving them too much credit if I think about it but they control a lot more than most people are aware of. This is why I rarely watch the news anymore. It is really not the "NEWS" anymore. We all have to be very carefull when we hear and read stories before making a conclusion these days.

i'm pretty sure i ordered the new 335 coupe because of the bmw magazine. every time i went to the washroom that coupe was just staring at me in the magazine rack.

I agree 100%. When my wife says she wants to watch the news, I say they're not reporting news, just incidents that have occurred that day like who drove through the window of a local eatery or who was injured in a house fire. IMHO, news is something that affects your everyday life. Watching the Weather Channel has more impact than finding out that Paris Hilton had a big welcome home party after spending hard time in jail. Give me a break!

Believe me I know. I used to be a stringer photographer for a newspaper. Hanging around the newsroom, I quickly learned that the stories are written long before the quotes and interviews are done. They pick the words that go with what they want to say.

There is no such thing as unbiased news reporting. But they are still morons. Those strings are being pulled from far above.

To bring it back to my point though... the "news" is just all about telling you what to be afraid of today. Watch the teasers for your 11:00 news... every day, some new "warning". Such crap.

I saw the news last nite and there was a LEDZEP alert predicted for today. They advised that we stay indoors and keep our shades drawn.

FYI, it wasn't the February edition that you received. It was the 2/2007 edition which equates to the 2nd quarter or second issue of 2007. As mentioned previously, it is published 4 times a year. The next issue will be 3/2007 and it will not denote the March issue.
