Individual High End Audio System for the new M3, is it included in e90/92 options?

In new M3 Germany Catalog, there is an option like this;

''BMW Individual High End Audio System''

it is priced 2 times higher than the Logic7 and 4 times the normal HiFi

(2100 euro in Germany)

Is there a new option for e90/e92 individual like this?

Does anyone have info about this audio system?

By looking at the price, I can say that it should be very good

Not available for us, I was reading about it in the new Bimmer magazine, sounds pretty amazing.

It will be an option for the 3 series. I talked to the BMW guys during the Munich High End hifi show in May and they confirmed it will be avilable for 3, 5 and 7 (don't know about X and Z as I did not ask).

I am in the Hifi business and judging from the pictures and info the speakers are made by Eton Gmbh. The electronics I have no real knowledge about but I believe it is some sort of digital amplifier with digital room correct which should be very good for cars because the acoustics in a car is by definition hopeless.

The option will most likely require Idrive to control the system settings.

I heard it in an M5 touring and it sounded rather good.

The new audio system is an Individual option so I guess it might not be for the US right now (sorry guys!!!).
