Hells yeah! I purchased one today, but though the phone activated within a few hours, my AT&T connection still hasn't been activated. As for the iPod and non-network features go, as in those that I've been able to play with without voice/data activation, it works very well and far PROcedes ( sorry, I have a macro that auto corrects any mention of exceed/xede ) all expectations. It is, as Gizmodo calls it, the 'Jesus Phone'. Awesome news that it connects to BMW BT.

Most bus adapter too

Just FYI, not only does my iPhone work with my bluetooth handsfree (and WAY better than the Treo 650/680s ever did!), but it works with my MOST bus ipod adapter too! To be clear, I do not mean the new USB interface, I mean the pre-USB adapter that puts an iPod connector in the glove box. When connected, the iPhone says it's not compatible and wants to switch to Airplane mode. I say no (to keep the phone enabled) and then switch to the CD changer as I did with my Ipod and voila!

Now to re-route that cable out of the glove box and into my center console...

mines asking for a passkey...my sales guy setup my rzr phone so i cannot find the passcode. I called the dealer and they had me look in the trunk and in my manuals (all like 10 of them) but I cannot find it.

Where did you find yours?

if you are talking about the bluetooth connection.....first enter a 4 digit code on the phone when it ask for a code....then hit the connet/pair button on the iphone....the BMW will then ask for a passcode...enter the same code you entered on the iphone....

Car does not have a dedicated passcode, it is generated ad hoc by you.

With a 2006 330 I can connect but lose the first 5 seconds of the call. Otherwise, it works well. Also, I don't get the phonebook to transfer.

I am typing this with my iphone for practice. But i wanted to also confirm that everything works wonderfully! Too bad its a pain to conect the phone to the adapter everytime i get in and out of the car. Maybe bmw and apple will release the a2dp protocol soon
