2008 model year?

Does anybody know when BMW start the production of the 2008 models?

I've got a 335i M Sport Coupe on order in Silver with red leather, 19" wheels and privacy glass, told by the dealer it should arrive by end of July. Just wondered if it would be a 2008 model as some manufacturers start 2008 model production in July/Aug/Sept.

It has been stated here and in the German forum that the 2008 model production starts in September.

BTW...when you get the 08, start a thread asking about the proper way to "Break In Your Car"...

BMW has just posted a press release that since 2008 is a leap year, there won't be any 2008 MY vehicles. They will all be 2009's.
