AC service
Hey guys, I'm looking to get my AC checked out, the air that its pushing out is no longer as cold as it once was. I've checked and yes I do have the knob all the way to the blue side as well as having the snowflake button on. The fan blows in the air just fine, just the temp isn't working as cold as it should.
My question is would you guys think it would be OK to take it to any shop that does AC work or stick with the dealership or Indy BMW shop? Only issue I have is with my work schedule and need of a car I can't take it to an indy bmw shop since they are not open on weekends here in Sacramento,(checked various shops) and the dealership(open on sat) is charging $350, where I can pay half that at an indy bmw shop. What would you suggest? Force a day off from work? Pay the $350? Or take it to any AC repair shop and have them take care of it? Hopefully the system isn't to complicated. Thanks for the suggestions! |

This car isn't special. Any AC shop can fix your AC for you.
