Headlight Sensors Dont Follow Steering

Hey everyone

Info is that my brakes on my car are brand new, but done outside of dealership (still under warantee) and mechanic did not reset brakes service computer. Says i need new brakes every time i start the car.

But my real concern is that my headlights arent following my angle of steering anymore.

Seems it stopped around the same time the brakes warning said brakes are completely gone.

Is these 2 things related? Or should I have dealership take a look at the lights?

thx

Double check to see if the headlights are on "Auto" instead of just on. I think the active steering light thing only works when it's on "Auto" mode.

yea check the auto position

if it is in auto, does the green led blink?

how are you checking that it doesn't move? when sitting still or driving? left and right?

Could be the mechanic didnt plugin the level sensors when he replaced the brake pads.
Find a mechanic that knows what he is doing. They should be able to reset the brake light too.

Went to dealership today, and the dealership said it needs a new sensor and cannot be reset... I don't think that is correct, taking it to good mechanic tomorrow

there are two types of sensors involved here. the brake pad sensors need to be replaced and are not reusable. the headlight level sensor should not have to be replaced unless damaged. which sensor is your dealer refering to?
