Paint coming off shadowline trim!!!
While washing my car today I noticed in several spots that the black is coming off the shadowline trim. Would this be covered under the warranty? Would they replace it or paint it? I'm at 47k miles....

same situation, but I had just bought the CPO 2009 a month ago. Mine was actually worse. They replaced the entire trim from the affected side. Thank goodness!

I have about 15k and have been noticing this for a few thousand miles already... Not acceptable... Can't do anything about it either because I am in germany right now and they only carry 2 year factory warranty... I have to abide by their warranty system even though I have a BMWNA car..

Just get a good shop to repaint it. Just keep in mind that a quality job will cost a good amount of money

People aren't taking the time to care for the trim properly. It needs to be handled like paint, which means washing/polish/waxing. I bot my E92 used and this was the condition of the trim...
After decontamination/polish/wax:
