NEED HELP!!
Posted here because I always see most responses here. I have an 06 330i with 66k miles. Today I went to start up my car my car began to shake alot. It came from the engine bay area. Popped the hood to see if I could figure where it came from but couldn't. All maintenance is up to date. Can anyone help? This is a time where in need the bimmer community.

Yea it drives but I only pulled out of driveway and didnt wanna risk further damage so I on go any further. I'll proly take it to an Indy nearby. My gas is almost on E but no low fuel message. I'll proly add gas and see what's up. Hopefully its a coil or something not as bad. When in idle it does get kinda rough.

update: took it to an indy today and turned out to be an ignition coil. SES light came on about two blocks before i made it to indy shop. car acutally feels even smoother than before it started acting up. costed me $170. thats including a small diagnostic fee.

Should have pulled into auto parts store when SES light went off. I had same symptoms, and got Cyl. #5 misfire error code. Replaced coil for $60 from BMW dealer and installed without using any tools in about 10 minutes.

i need to invest in a good code scanner to read these things. i figured it was a coil but didnt know which one. this is the third coil replacement in the car history. i will for sure do it myself next time.
