check engine soon car shaking at startup..

so i got this car on dec 31st as certified pre-owned.. and i've got maybe 1500 miles on it..
its a 08 335xi and im a little bit freaked at the shake on start up and the engine check light.. anyone know any issues it could be? does the pump prob come with a shake?

bad coil,plug. but you have a 335, so could be the HPFP!

if you drove it, did it drive fine?

ya shake went away but im not sure if it went full just went down the street to wash it, was wondering if it was the hpfp.. what the hell does certified mean :l

just checked it the shakes not going away and the rpm guage is a little bouncy is that characteristic of the HPFP?

Could be number if things. I had the same issue, car would shake and stutter until it warmed up, then it was fine. For me they changed the plugs but that only lasted a day. It came down to replacing all of my fuel injectors.

yea i figuredi really hope i dont get a huge run around time wise with this issue

most likely a bad ignition coil
