PFC-01 Front Brake Pad Part Number ?

I got front and rear PFC-01 pads for my 1m. The rear pads went in without a problem. The part number for the rears is 0919.01.16.44.

When I tried to put in the fronts I find that the caliper will not go in far enough to get the caliper bolts back in. The part number I got for front is 918.01.19.44 (same as used on an E9x M3).

While the pads themselves do look and measure as the right ones it looks to me like the ears on the pads are wider than the stock pads. This keeps the caliper from seating properly. When I put the stock pads back in the caliper goes in without a problem.

Anybody put PFC-01s on their 1M? If so what was the part number?

Thanks

Same part number, but no problems here.

Mystery solved

I didn't realize that the inside and outside pads aren't the same. When I took the fronts out of the box I mixed up the 2 sets. I was either trying 2 of the same side pads or I had the inside pad on the outside and the outside pad on the inside.

Thanks

I just did the same thing Saturday. Spent 15 minutes trying to get the caliper back on before I realized that the inner and outer pads have different shaped backing plates.

Doesn't help that PFC rubber bands both of each type together. I just grabbed one bundle out of the box and went to town changing them. I have never seen a backing plate that was different inside to outside.
