Why don't all 335s have thumb-rests on the wheels?
My 328i has thumb rests on the steering wheel without the sports package, but I have test-driven several 335s with the sport package that do not have them. Why is this? Thumb-rests are supposed to be standard on both cars.

the 335s you've driven probably had paddle shifters. i think at one point, the thumb rests and paddle shifters came together with redesigned shifters.
