Random Question - Trunk Cargo Hook Strength

Anyone know how much lb's of the force cargo hooks in the E92's trunk are designed to hold? Reason I ask is because I bought a spare tire and have two latching straps which I crossed over the tire on both sides and latched down the tire pretty tight. I don't want the hooks to pop off or something.

who knows, but it doesn't matter because you don't need all that force to keep the spare in place. I have one with just a couple bungee cords from the hooks to the rim holes and it never moves an inch.

You aren't trying to tie down Godzilla there!
