Well today is the last of my warranty. I guess I'm on my own from here. All the issues with this car for the past 4 yrs would have cost me over 5k if I had to pay. Makes me wonder if the avg BMW could have been a bit cheaper if they had stellar reliability

Thats exactly why I lease now... Im done with buying BMWs.. My current lease was 7 months old when she was in the shop for 20 days.. No way in hell Id keep this car.

I guess its hit or miss
my last e90 325xi had no problems whatsoever. for the 3 years ive had it the most expensive service was replacing the rotors + new pads for front and back.
same story with my current 328xi, coming up to almost 100k and it seems fine so far
also have a buddy of mine with a 335 07 that has about 200k on it and same thing. no problems, not even hpfp or water pump issues most people are having

in a 335 i would be worried because of the turbos and hpfp

330i, i sleep well at night even though i have 148,000mi

Can't blame you for leasing. Well I will watch and see. The second time I have to spend $$ on a non routine issue then it Maybe time to ED again
