temp registration problem

bought my car march 8th (used)....my temp plate and temp registration expired april 8th. they said the dmv is "slow" and they will call me when they get it. mind you i have been asking(calling) everything other day! the dealershit faxed me a letter stating that my temp plate expired and that if anyone house questions, to call the dealer...what the F do i do! many people said demand a new temp plate, but everyone knows that cost money.....what if they say NO, wtf do i do?

Instead of calling, email them. Then print out a copy of your email and their response and carry it with you along with your purchase contract and your proof insurance. That should hold you for the meantime.

Tell them you want your money back for registration... Then walk into the DMV, do it, and walk out with a plate.

i drove with only my temp plate for almost amonth after it was expired. i just always carried everything i got from the dealership with me. never got pulled though.

it took me almost 2 months to get my plates. I never git pulled over.

if you get a ticket, the dealership is responsible so I wouldn't be worried at all.
