New 313 reps supplied by Chris from ********
Hi,
Just wanted to post a review and a thankyou to Chris from ********. 313 rep wheels provided by ******** See thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=670493 for wheel information. Pre-sales All emails and queries were responded to promptly and answered all of my questions. I rate his customer service as excellent and gave a personal feel and not rushed in anyway. Delivery/packaging Wheels arrived on the day specified by UKmail. The wheels were well protected and arrived free from any damage. (Each wheel was individually boxed and wrapped. Inside the wheel was wrapped in plastic then a light fabric. Under this was a rim guard and a sheet of thin packing foam. The wheels were held in place in the box by cardboard wedges) Fitting The wheels balanced perfectly and ran straight and true. Conclusion I would highly recommend dealing with Chris from ********, he made the whole transaction very smooth and made sure there were no hold ups along the way. The wheels are of excellent quality and look amazing on the car. |

parrp, (or anyone else) can you comment on the quality of the paint finish?
Last year I visited BMauto's with view to buying a set of csl reps, but I wasn't happy with the paint finish (poorly sprayed imo), not so much an orange-peel effect but more of an uneven finish - not smooth. They apparently were made in China. Anyways, I chose a set of Cades Apollo instead, which were a better finish (these were made in Taiwan so I was told). I'm now thinking of selling the Apollo's and replacing with the 313's. Last edited by Cyprio; 04-19-2012 at 05:15 AM.. |

I wasnt happy when on look out for some 19's last year with their customer service I guess it didnt inspire confidence so didnt buy Im not sure if BMAuto are any sponsers on any forums - however Chris is a sponser on several forums and your all aware you lot are on here to get the experiences of others to avoid mistakes or pitfalls. Ive have had 19 inch wheels delivered from Chris before id paid for them Not saying this is normal but Id established a rapport from him on a e46 forum over a year or so. Top bloke and very patient with all your I want this wheel and then I want that Let me just say im not affiliated to him ! As for Phils wheels - saw them up close they look excellent - the colour of the spoke inserst being grey almost match perfectly to the colour of his car ... As we walked up to it I couldnt help but notice a very M5's look to the car and wheels The paint finish of the inserts and the 'cut' forged look of the wheel faces looked pukka Phil also mentioned that the wheels were lighter than his BM set - and so the unsprung weight will be less at the wheels ! heres a pic of Chris wheels on mine sorry for pic hijack Phil |

Most importantly the casting seems to be of good quality, each wheel rang like a bell and they balanced easily and had no visible distortion when spinning on the balance machine. The way I see it is if the finish only lasts a year and the wheels remain straight then I'll ship them off to Lepson's for a top notch refurb and I'll still have only paid £750 for a really nice set of wheels.
