Stuck cup holder

Hi folks

I have managed to get my cup holder jammed in. It not will not come out. I have an e91 tourer. Not a clue how to get to it to free it! A don't want to put a flat head screwdriver down the side of it becaus ei would imagine it will mark the trim.

Anyone have any ideas?
