Jerky cold starts

I have been having very jerky starts when the car is cold. Has been happening since I had the VANOS solenoids replaced after the car went into limp mode. Any ideas? Turbos also seem to be louder/ whistling more than usual.

In the morning, I notice that in 1st gear the car seems a bit jerky. I am not sure if its a clutch issue, b/c it feels like riding with a n00b stick driver. It goes away after a minute. Is this what is happening to you?

Yes, thats what it feels like, when it first happened it also kind of felt like I hate a really flat tire… to the point where I got out to check (even though I have run flats) I'm pretty sure its abnormal because its never happened before, just want to get an idea for what it might be so the dealer doesn't try to say its fine
