E90 ---> Electric? .... +FlyingCar

Anyone who is sticking it out with their E90's or just got them cheap during the end of the life cycle, [or even F30 owners] would you consider the new BMW hybrids, if priced reasonably? Saw $5.03 for 91 in NY today and it had me thinking...

They were at display at the NY Autoshow, thought the i8 was really stunning.

and as a Bonus.. A FLYING CAR!

I guess I would, if I wanted an electric gas station put in my garage

Seriously though, I might consider one.

I'm sticking it out for the F32. I'll wait for the first year bugs being worked out on that flying-machine. Or just pay 21$ and fly Southwest with all the other crazy people.

Depending on how much my electricity bill would go up from charging the thing every night, maybe.

Why wait for an $85K BMW hybrid when the Chevy Volt is available right now, with a $7,500 tax incentive.

Simple - A) I would never purchase a Chevy, and B) I have no interest in a hybrid from any manufacturer.

And after almost 24 years of BMW ownership and the purchase of three new BMWs over that time (2 currently in the fleet), based on the recent poor production quality and the direction BMW is going, my E90 will be my last.

Ignorance is bliss....

"they say" it is extremely minimal, around $1.50 a day for a tank I'm pretty sure I saw in one figure..

When I was checking out the Volt, $1.50 was the estimate based on average electricty rates, which got you 35 - 40 miles.
