Hi all,
I recently purchased an e90 320d se. Its my first e90 but not BMW - my last 6 cars have been (from most recent to oldest) 2001 X5 4.4 Sport, 2003 330ci Sport, 2002 330ci Sport, 2005 535d M Sport (remapped), 2002 M3 SMG and 2001 330ci Sport. I sold the X5 (which was LPG) to purchase this for the fuel economy as I have recently started a business requiring alot of miles, having previously fast petrol & diesel cars, I was expecting this to be a slouch, however for its little 4 pot engine, its okay. I find that its just not possible to enjoy a fast car on our roads anyway. The car came from the factory with M Sport half leather interior, and the previous owner fitted the full M Sport kit with 335d M Sport exhaust & rear diffuser, the quality of the job is second to none, perfect fitment on every panel and even the side skirts have been swapped which is often missed (I think some people have never noticed a difference between M sport and se skirts.) He also added the cf rear spoiler and mirror covers. I would never have done those last 2 myself, but actually really like them now (the spoiler at least). The front grill was painted (badly) matt black so I repainted them gloss black and lacquered them. The only pic I have at the moment is one of the sellers pics, but I will take my own shortly. |

Welcome. I can understand why you got a 320d but after your previous cars I don't know how long you will be able to put up with the lower power?

I seem to change cars within 12 months so if it gets to me, the next one may be a fast car again, but I must say I've noticed my driving getting slower and slower over the years.

They are the smoked rear clusters, look much better than the normal ones IMHO.
