Funnily enough I was looking at this whilst getting some screen wash the other day at the parts dept. My conclusion was that it's like other BMW accessories, over priced. Look around for other generic in-car DVD systems and you'll probably save yourself some cash without losing out on quality.

I noticed the BMW battery conditioner - the spec is the same as the CTEK MXS3.6 with a slightly different styling & badged BMW:

CTEK MXS3.6 = £41 ... Genuine (rebadged CTEK) BMW = £91

It's even got a brand name on it hasn't it? Anyway, whether it has or not it's certainly pricey. Unless you really need two screens I'd be looking at an iPad.

Nope, no brand name behind it.

Oh ok. They don't make a song and a dance about it though, not even BMW branding iirc.
