lowering springs help
hi,
can anyone recommend what lowering springs i should buy for e93 se. I've got 17" alloys atm and doesn't look too high but I've just bought a set of 19" 313's off chris and the car will sit too high on the 19's (especially the front end). How much should i lower the car by? i don't want to go for the slammed look and i don't want to go over humps at angles either. thanks Nas |

Have you got the M-Sport suspension option on your SE? I've just fitted Supreme Power spring perches on OE M-Sport shocks & springs and it looks lovely now, that ugly front wheel arch gap has disappeared yet the car handles beautifully like it did the day it left BMW. I wouldn't recommened these on non-M suspension as even with the lowering perches the car will sit too high.
If you don't want a slammed look, go for the Eibach sport springs. If you want a little of the slammed look then go for H&R but I hear that they give a rock hard ride. |

I've got my springs in the boot just waiting to be fitted. Should have been done by a local (to where I work) mech but every time I've took car in I collect later and get excuses why it's not done and it's doing my tits in now. Fingers crossed tomorrow, if so I'll post up pics, they are eibachs.

thanks guys....tbh I'm a newbie with stuff like this so I'm not sure if i have the m sport suspension on my se. its only a 2.0i so I'm presuming its hasn't. it looks like my car sits low but I'm guessing thats because i have smaller wheels. theres still the ugly front arch gap though. anyone now where i can i buy eibachs pro? how much should i be paying for this?
