Wheel scratch repair in Bellevue/Eastside

Yesterday, while parking on Capitol Hill, I accidentally scratched my front right wheel. The scratch is really minor and not really noticeable unless you know about it. However, being totally anal about my car, I'd like to get it fixed. Can anyone recommend a wheel repair shop/specialist on the Eastside who is charging a reasonable price? Thanks!

BTW, driving in Seattle with the sport package is just a nightmare -- the car jumps and bounces every single minute ...

I'm having my rear wheel fixed (about 16" of rash) and my front wheel fixed (about 2" of rash) for $150. The shop is DTS in Totem Lake. He said it is basically $150 per wheel, but since the front was so minor, he'd do it along with the rear.

In comparison to the link posted, that is very expensive! Assuming the prices posted are accurate (website says last updated March 2006.) If my car wasn't already at DTS, I'd give Dependable a call for sure! They are also located in Renton, which is much, much closer than Totem Lake (since I live in Renton.)

DTS is a good shop! We use them for our pre-owned vehicles and service customers.

Yep, you guys gave me his card. I'm totally bummed that I have to use his services already (1,700 miles on the car.) But it was either curb rash or have some idiot in another car redesign my quarter panels.....

Should be done tomorrow, so I'll report back on how it comes out. I should have snapped some "before" pics.....

A follow-up. I picked up my car on Friday afternoon, and the wheels look great! I can barely tell where the repair was done, but that is because I know exactly where it was, but the difference in infinitesimal. I think someone else would be extremely hard pressed to even tell a repair was done. I'm very, very happy with the fix!

I have got a number that you can try. I got it from Bellevue Auto Rebuild Manager. He recommend to go by this guy. The mananger told he has the cheapest price and quality work. If you want to give a try, call 425-774-5131 and ask for Joe. Tell him, you are recommend by Ted Sofianos. I have not attend the shop yet since I want to wait a little bit. Thanks for posting this, so I can comparing the shop together. GL!

DEPENDABLE WHEEL REPAIR
I also highly recommend Dependable Wheel Repair. Great peeps. Spectacular service. Highest quality work. What more could you ask for? Unless you have discounted, clearance, aftermarket wheels, repair is almost always cheaper than replacing... Especially if it is repairing 1 vs. replacing 4.

Doesn't dependable wheel repair just resurface the rim? They don't actually fix it, just grind it away?

Rashed another one? I've got a few minors scuffs too......

Anyway, I checked my business card file and I found the card for DTS:
Dave Stewart @ 206-947-4599

That is all the info I've got, so I don't know if it is up to date or not. When I had my wheels done, he was just moving into a fixed location (was mobile previously) and I haven't been back since (thankfully, although they need some work again.)
