Dry Petrol Pumps - Thanks Mr Cameron!

I genuinely needed to re fuel today so went to my local petrol station. I could not believe seeing the signs 'sorry no fuel', the whole station was dry. Went over to the next one closest and queued for ten minutes.

WTF is going on with people, are they all sheep?

I was under the impression the unions have to give five days notice to warn of any strike date?

Thanks Mr Cameron for telling motorists to 'top up when you can'

Tesco in Aberdeen have closed off their forecourt.

Really, not this s*** again.

I've got 3/4 of a tank left but need that to go home and come back at the weekend.

The tanker drivers are paid 45k on average - enough to put up with whatever they are striking for? Not too badly paid...... Ok, they are driving a "bomb". But how many bombs go off? Our squaddies take more risk with substantially less pay.

When I need to fill up, I'll be doing at 6am on the way to work, before the "sheep" arise I hope.

Frankly I'm fucked off with these union bastards who keep riling folk up. 45k is fucking good money for that job.

With 2000 GAME staff made redundant and more unemployment than ever, they should sack the lot and tell the union to fuck off. Twats.

I have and will sympathise with teachers and a number of other striking groups, but not this time.

I had the same two days ago, my car spunked itself through £50 of fuel on Monday, went to refill on Tuesday AM and the only fuel left was Super Unleaded, so I just filled up thinking is all this due to a possible strike at some point in the future?? Drive round the corner to be met with queues out of the next petrol station - then it confirmed that fuckwits were in fact reacting to the news reports.

Now I'm panicking as my car doesn't go too long without some go-go juice.

To be fair you're partially responsible for my trip being so inefficient, if you'd have seen me, you'd have made the trip equate to £16 per client as opposed to £25 per client on that particular trip

the local BP to our office also seems to have 'upped' the price of said unleaded and diesel - im sure they have done it to prevent the strike, ie pass on the difference to the tanker drivers. not that they are striking over pay, its a health and safety issue

It really is. You can read up all you want about how to please a woman, you can look at all the diagrams in the world, but just like the clitoris, you won't know what the hell an apex is before you actually find it.

Watching top gear, the episode where Clarkson and the gang try and build a caterham 7 in the same time the Stig is racing up to Knockhill from London in one.

Here is a pic of the fuel cost as he fills up the Caterham in 2006

I bet they bring the strikes even quicker now as reserves have run out at stations therefore the effects of a strike will hit harder.

I have no sympathy with the strikers. There was a lady on breakfast TV the other morning who talked all about the health and safety issues and how margins are being squeezed etc. Wake up friends, the whole world is having to amend their ways and work to new regimes to win and retain contracts. She did all she could to bluff around the pay issue but its clear the strike is a lot about money.

Bring in the army drivers, employ some of the many unemployed HGV drivers in the country also to take over and sack the strikers for their 1970s style action.
