I was early to the TX2K12 dyno day and a Carrera GT came in to shoot a scene for car channel. Excellent exhaust note! First time seeing this car in person!

I've always loved the CGT, and still to this day think that it has one of the greatest exhaust notes ever to come out of a car.

+1. I think that besides the Zonda R, there's nothing that can even touch that exhaust.

heard an LF-A for the first time over the weekend and while i absolutely disagree with the car and hate lexus, it sounds better (IMO) than a STOCK carrera gt.

I'd love to see Porsche make a replacement model for this. I think the Carrera GT still looks great and has aged well. The sound is just amazing.

the Carrera GT is like the 959 you can't really replaces them, a follow up is more appropriated.
