Is a Le Mans M Sport blue worth $50/month?!
Oh, what a decision to make.
I can take delivery before the end of the year of a 320d SE in Titanium Silver with sports seats, sports suspension, sports steering wheel and 17" Star (158) alloys, with anthracite cloth/leather. Or... to get a Le Mans blue M Sport one, which I originally wanted, will mean waiting until the New Year, when the cost will go up by £30/$50 because of the change in the company car tax law. The list prices of both cars are around the same - M Sport vs. SE with the sports boits listed above, so the only difference is the extra tax. I'd kind of convinced myself that the SE is cool and will drive virtually the same as the M Sport on 17s (slightly narrower tyres on the SE on the rear, but they are still very grippy). Now I looked at the Offical Le Mans Blue Thread again and my heart is taking over once more... Is Le Mans blue paintwork, the M logo-filled interior and the body kit worth paying the taxman extra for? For those that have it, how much shorter is the short gearshift on the M Sport? In going for the M Sport I'd be able to add the Through Load System too, which the (available) TiAG car doesn't have, as well as any other options. Help save my aching brain! Thanks, Jon |

I vote for waiting for the lemans car.. In my book, when it comes to cars, you got to go for the one you really want, otherwise you may not be totally happy and will find yourself with buyers remorse. (this rule only works if you are a car freak

You may also want to try calling around to a few other dealerships as well, to see if anyone can get you the car you want before the deadline. Long story short: If you really want LeMans, get LeMans. If the money is more important to you, get the silver car and be happy |

Mr. Abulia, yes, my company goes through one dealer and basically the car needs to be sourced from them and registered prior to 1/1/06 to save the cash. I think they've looked across the country.

Can you afford the extra $50/month...if its just pocket change for you then get it. If is over the budget...then forget it

Worked out at $70/month difference. I've gone for the silver one. Should be arriving in three weeks or so
And almost the same colour as my MX-5 (click), heh heh. |

Look at it this way..........say you have a 60 month ( 5yr) loan:
$70. x12 month= $840 (for 1 yr) $840 x 5 yr loan= $4,200 IS THIS really worth the color now??? |
