Does speaker rattle cover by warranty?

Guys,

I noticed there is "speaker rattle" on my E90 driver side today when I listen to the music. I don't think I blow the speaker because I never turned the volume too loud because we always have baby in the car. Anyone knows what others could cause that problem? Would it cover by warranty?

Thanks.

Reviving old ass thread due to my mad searching skills.

I recently developed a rattle in my front driver side speaker (L7). I been blasting music lately since I got a trunk sub recently. I confirmed that its the actual grill that causes a high pitched rattle on high notes. The grill rotates slightly both ways (about 1/4 inch). So clearly this thing has loosened up some. When I put pressure on it or slip a credit card between grill and door panel, it stops (as it should). I'd imagine cpo warranty wouldn't cover this, so my question is do these things just pry off? I want to maybe put some rubber between to fix this. I hate rattles!

you can get it off, but to put it back on, you have to take the whole door panel off. PITA.

lol wow, way to over engineer a speaker grill BMW! Good thing I didn't force it off earlier... Gonna just try and wedge some small rubber strips in there. Thanks!
