Might be able to find a cheap rear seat section at a yard or from someone parting a wrecked car. Maybe $100-150 for half of the seat if you're lucky?

Prob. your best option.

get a quote show it to her and if she agrees on price then good. if she doesnt then tell her to find someone that will do a decent job.

DIY Option

Burns or torn leather – scrape away any burned edges and cut off any rough /frayed particles. Install a sub-patch under the leather (wait until he adhesive is tacky before placing the patch) and if necessary use a filler to level the surface. Use several light coats of filler dried between coats. You can use a hair dryer to assist in drying. Remember to hold hair dry at a 300 angle. After the leather repair is level, apply a colour dye to match If you need mor detailed instructions PM me

Get a quote for the repair and DIY; show her the repair and the quote...just think how grateful she''l be.......
