Coupe Sport or non-Sport

I asked this on some other forums too..

I am interested in opinions on this subject. I really don't care for the look of the sport wheel option so that aspect of it for me is moot.

Is sport really that much different than the standard in the coupe?

Does the standard coupe feel a lot better then a standard roadster 3.0si? Because a roadster without sport does not feel that great. Is it different in the coupe.

Does the button really do anything significant? I adds no power or torque so any performance gain is purely in the mind I would guess.

Thanks much!

By sport I assume your talking about the M version, since the coupe only comes in 3.0si and M.

So...the differences are many, including a completely different suspension, steering, and engine, all of which are very significant upgrades. The M variant also loses the Run Flat Tires which most people agree are well worth losing.

Finally the M version just looks better in my humble opinion. And isnt' that what matters most?

Actually there is a Sport Package on the Coupe - this adds a stiffer suspension (quite similar to the ///M suspension), 18" tires (225/40F 255/35R), and the Sport button that changes the throttle map and decreases the steering boost.

It would have been nice to be able to order the non RFT tires, but I changed those out on mine anyway.

I never drove the non Sport Package version of the Coupe, so can't help Molly out here.

^... No, Molly is talking about the "Sport package" on the 3.0si coupe

Quote:
Sport Package
* Dynamic Driving Control (Sport Button)
* 18 x 8.0 front/18 x 8.5 rear Star Spoke (Styling 203) light-alloy wheels and 225/40R-18 front/255/35R-18 rear run-flat* performance tires**
* Sport suspension

:edit: LOL...you beat me to it Alan

Yes I am very familiar with what the package includes, just looking for subjective insight as to if it really makes a lot of difference in driving the car. Thanks.
