... What should I expect to get done at this service appointment besides Oil?

FWIW.... you don't have to get EVERYTHING done at the dealer for Insp I or II.
As long as it's documented, you can do a lot of it yourself or have it done by an independent tech. There are only a couple of things that HAVE to be done at the dealership. You can save yourself a large chunk of $$$ I have notes somewhere..... (looking)

Surely the M gets crappy gas mileage compared to regular Z4 and other bimmers and we spend more on gas initially, but at the same time it's a lot easier for us to get to inspection 2 when still under warranty, while it rarely happens for the regular Z4. But then again I drive my ///M 150 miles a month; I'll be lucky to get to insp 1 while under the warranty. |

Hi everyone. I have been lurking in the z4rum since i got my z4 a year ago and now Im lurking in this forum. Surprisingly, never had a topic gotten me so eager to post than this topic. Ok, Im just gonna say it. Is it just me or has noone noticed that this fellow drove his 2006 z4 M for "36,500" miles in a year? OMG I thought the 19,800 miles on my 2006 z4 was high for a year's worth of driving. I salute you.
