Anyone cracked 600 miles out of a tank in a 320d?

Managed 585 miles this week out of my remapped 320d 163hp with new egr and main stat, 125,000 miles.
Was showing zero miles left on the gauge.
No motorway miles but tend to keep the swing meter around the 50 mpg mark.
So averaged 42.5 mpg working it out paying £0.153 per mile paid £1.44 per ltr.

Brilliant figures.

Nah, I used to crack at about 20 miles left showing with around 550 on the trip.
Generally much less miles now, so I rarely fill it up!
This is on the pre-LCI 163 model.

Only filled mine up the other evening, managed 610 miles on the previous tank.

I've got a 320d (177).

Must say that I'm incredibly impressed. It's much better than the 250-280 miles I was getting out of my previous car!

Well i filled the car up £75.. had to drive up to Aberdeen so on roads with cruise set at 60 and 70 mph and i got there and back on just over half a tank.... i was averaging 62.7 mpg... when i got back i was just doing normal town driving so all in all out of a full tank i got 720 miles....... which makes up for the poor amount of 284 miles out of £50 in my wifes mini !!!!

Not bad, but you clearly didnt fill the car up from empty, unless you bought your diesel at £1.21 ltr !!!!

Still £0.12 per mile is pretty good as thats the same as my old Skoda Octavia. You must have the later eco 3er then to get 720 miles out of a tank

I feel your pain, used to get depressed when filling up my old MR2 turbo with superplus and getting NO miles out of a tank, but at least the miles I drove were fun.....then I bought a diesel and found myself depressed while driving but filling up was fun!!!

If I had the choice I would go with the first option!

I managed 630+ from a tankful in my 320d E92. Ironically it was the last day I owned the car and was on a trip to Wakefield. I left them the car with vapours in the tank.

I managed 720 miles on a tank last year, a trip to hull and back then a couple of airport runs. That wasn't an economy run either, just reset the trip after brimming the tank to see what the journeys would cost me.

Quite . Had a lovely drive out earlier, top down, listening to the Stillen sing - fabulous (still envious of your mpg though ). The wife's new QQ+2 is claimed to hit 60+mpg so at least out of our vehicles will get decent returns.

TMP, you drive like a girl

Im on course to get 600 out of a tank on my 330d Auto 07, all A and B roads, first fill up with BP Ultimate and must say Im impressed so far, used to use millers with normal diesel don't think I will be any more. I usually get around 550 to a tank on average, mixed driving

I got 658 miles out of our last tank in the X1, which worked out at 49mpg brimming it back up again.

Normally 550 out of a tank though.

I've had 450miles from my 335i.. average over 400 miles per tank.

Happy with that.

Really, last time we had a run, you backed down first (there was a small matter of a lunatic white man van)

Was gonna say, my old mapped E46 32Cd managed 600 every tank and would get 700 on a good run. The 330 touring usually gets about 500-550 on a normal tank. I reckon a run would see 600 if I could keep it going.
