Convertible-Leather UV protection

does anyone have an opinion on what would be best to protect my leather seats from UV damage? Thanks in advance!

I'm currently using Leather Masters cleaners and conditioner. Are there products that I can use in conjunction that specifically protect against the sun?

Many leather products do not contain ultra violet (UV) protection addatives, they are expensive and treated glass provides most of the necessary protection.

However a convertible is a different proposition as it is open to the suns radiation. 303 Space Protectant is one of, if not the best product for this application

UV protection is a sacrificial / renewable component; this is due to the UV protection layer being degraded by exposure to the elements so it is imperative that you renew it and needs to be re-applied on a regular basis (dependent upon location climatic condition)

Application - Spray 303 Space Protectant onto a clean 100% cotton micro fibre towel , agitate it well and then allow it to remain in place for 10-15 minutes. Finally using a clean 100% cotton micro fibre towel buff it to ensure it permeates

Been using Aerospace 303 on my interior since day 1 on my '07 E93 that sees a lot of time with the top down...So far there has been no fading that I can see (Coral Red interior). It's good stuff, but you have to be religious about applying it every 3-6 weeks, although you may go longer between applications in the winter months when your interior doesn't see that much UV (because the top is down less and because the sun is lower in the sky allowing less uv to reach the ground).

On plastics and vinyl I suggest Swissvax Protecton (Glossy) Or Protecton Matt, and for the leather, you can't beat the protection of a combination of Swissvax Leather Milk and Elephant Fat, especially for a convertible.
