Anyone know to what extent our Canadian BMWs go in terms of iDrive functionality?

Do we get or have the option to pay for the full unlimited internet browser? This is what the international BMW start page says:

Your BMW can take you to many places around the world. And, as of now, you can also travel the information highways of the virtual world without any limitations at all: with Internet access from BMW ConnectedDrive.

Id really like to know!!

I am 99.9% certain that service is not available in Canada. It wasn't up to about a year ago, and I haven't heard anything to the contrary recently.

How does the connectivity work for this though? That might have an effect on it's availability in Canada.
