Burning / Natural Gas Smell from the behind
Hello,
Yesterday parked in the garage, as soon as I got out, I smelled something like natural gas (I don't have natural gas in my house). Then after I turned off the car, it made some mechanical noise on the back for some time. Couldn't figure what it was? I been parking in the garage for more than a month now. This is first time I smell anything from the car, and plus the weird noises from the back. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Exhaust cooling down? Although that sound usually comes from under the car.
Here's a trick - light a match and see if you blow up. If you do, that was natural gas leak |

Don't worry. It's normal. I get the same smells and sounds from my behind every time I eat Taco Bell.

When I got my bmw I had a cracked Vapor Canister in the back, it was making a ticking noise that's how I noticed it was cracked. I figured the smell was from that aswell lol.
