Transmission issue?!?

About a year ago, brought in my E90 to the dealer regarding a transmission leak. They ended up replacing the Mechatronic sleeve. Now, the vehicle has left a small residue on the same area as last time, and I'm also noticing the vehicle shifting a bit weird. From a cold start, as you coast from first -> second (6AT), the engine idle revs up another 200-400rpms between shifting. It goes bout 200rpms when shifting from second to third gear. Any thoughts?

You are probably low on fluid. Run, don't walk, back to the dealer and have them check it out.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

Not so sure it is a level issue. There are a lot of possibilities but all will involve the dealer figuring out what is wrong. Small residue and no fluid on the floor makes it fairly unlikely it is a fluid issue and if it was from the last transmission service I think it would have been an issue long ago. There is a series of solenoids that actually initiate the shifting so it could be one of them. Best of luck
