Funny issue that started with keyless
First off, hello e90 post. I am not new to the BMW scene and just recently sold my '01 525i. Before that I had three separate e39s and two e36s which included an M3. Just bought an '07 335 so I had to join this site for some inspiration. This post however isn't about me.
My sister owns an '07 328xi. There are multiple issues which I believe all deal with one part. Need some confirmation from someone who possibly might have had a similar problem. Here are the symptoms: - FOB locks/unlocks the car ONLY when within very close proximity to the rear windshield and pretty much anywhere near the top of the car but it has to be literally two inches away from the body of the car to work. - SOS warning light appears during startup. Every time. - Radio reception non-existent with the exception of maybe two FM stations. - Bluetooth seems inactivated. The option is there but has no function. I was told the part I might possibly need is the "diversity control module" which is situated on the roof towards the back of the car. Its not easy to come by used and not too cheap so I thought I'd ask here before going that route. Any ideas |
