leather can be bought as a standalone option without premium package. I believe it also came standard last year as a no cost option on certain models. Red would indicate leather.

There also exists the possibility that leatherette was re-dyed or reupholstered to red by the previous owner but that's pretty low on probability side. Leather seating can be determined by stitching. The dead give-away is the stitching on the door armrest. There is a stitching that goes along the edge of the door armrest.

Good news didn't want to take saleman's word for it.

Looking at a certified 2009 335 x-drive BSM with Coral. Kind of a love it or hate it combinations. Didn't see leather on list of options...has heated seats (494) and sport (ZSP).

I have BSM with coral red leather and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

All of my past vehicles have been black on black. I just love that combo. I never planned on changing that. Then I ordered my 2012 and the girlfriend was pushing coral red on me. She said it would be a change and be sporty. I wasn't able to see any Coral red on the lot but figured who cares. I would live a little and try it.

When I first saw it when my car finally arrived, i fell in love. Since then, I can picture my car with black. The coral red is so different, so sporty and just down right sexy.

BSM with coral red leather, coupe with sports seats are just panty dropping sexy.

Haha. Coral red doesn't photograph well tho!
